How a page is made
- We look at what people search for and what the current top results already answer, so each guide covers the questions readers actually have.
- Research and a first draft are produced with AI assistance.
- Every fact on the page (titles, release dates, runtimes, streaming homes, birth dates) is then checked against a source we link on the page. If we cannot confirm a fact, we remove it.
- Pages show an "Updated" date. Where-to-watch pages also show the date we last checked the streaming services.
Sources we prefer
Studio and distributor pages, the streaming services' own title pages, film classification bodies for running times, and established trade publications for announced release dates. Wikipedia is not used as the only source for a fact. Birthday lists come from Wikidata, which we credit on those pages.
Independence
No studio, streaming service or advertiser reviews or approves our pages before publication. We do not accept payment for coverage. If a page ever carries advertising or a paid link, it will be labelled clearly.
People
We write about films, not private lives. We do not publish rumours, speculation about health or relationships, or invented quotes, and we do not use images of real people.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, email editorial@starcelebia.com with the page address and what needs fixing. We check the claim against a primary source, correct the page, and update its date. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article.
